Day 1: Arrive in Nairobi / Transfer to Hotel

Meet and greet upon your arrival in Nairobi Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and immediately transfer to your hotel for overnight.

Day 2: Pick up at your hotel and Drive to Tsavo East

The driver meets you at the hotel at 8.00am and you immediately proceed to Tsavo East Park via Mombasa road, with scenic views of Taita Hills on the way. Upon arrival at Tsavo East you will check in and have lunch at the lodge then depart for an afternoon game drive to spot some animals that are easy to spot in this park which include elephant, lion, buffalo, giraffe, hippo, plains game and birds. In the evening you will return to camp for rest and dinner.

Day 3: Tsavo East

Early morning game drive is recommended for a chance to spot the early predators as they start off the day.  Tsavo East is famously known as “The land of Man-eaters of Tsavo” – a group of lions which terrorized railway workers during the construction of the Kenya-Uganda railway.  Visit various scenic points such as Aruba Dam, Mudanda Rock or Captain Lugards’ Falls. In the evening, you are transferred back to the camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Drive to Amboseli

After breakfast, you will check out of the hotel and drive to Amboseli arriving for check in and lunch at the lodge. After lunch and relaxation, you will enjoy a rewarding evening game drive within the park. Amboseli is famous for elephants and the scenic view of the Great Kilimanjaro. As the sun sets in the horizon, you are transferred back to lodge for rest and relaxation as you wait for dinner to be served.

Day 5: Amboseli

Early breakfast then go out on an exploratory morning game drive when the cloud cover is less for a great chance of seeing Kilimanjaro clearly. You will be driven back to the lodge for hot lunch. The driver will drive you at a leisurely pace as you stop often to enable you watch animals, take pictures and enjoy bird watching. Also drive to the observation hill where you will see a scenic aerial view of the park as you take photos and watch the animals at the nearby swamp. In the evening you will be transferred back to the lodge for dinner and rest.

Day 6: Fly to Masai Mara

Early breakfast then check out from the lodge for a short transfer to the airstrip to board the 9.15am flight to Masai Mara. You will reach Masai Mara Keekorok Airstrip at 10.30am and meet your driver waiting for you for a mid morning game drive. During the game drive, you will have a good chance to spot some members of the big five family which include the lion, elephant, buffalo, black rhino and leopard which are a bit rare to see. Break for hot lunch at the camp then enjoy an afternoon game drive till sunset. As the sun sets, you are transferred back to the camp for check in and rest.

Day 7: Masai Mara

Early breakfast then depart from camp with picnic lunch and enjoy an early morning game drive for a chance to see the animals as they hunt. Spend time exploring the marvellous and extensive Mara Reserve looking for animals and taking photographs. The driver will drive you at a leisurely pace as you stop often to enable you watch animals, take pictures and enjoy bird watching. You will carry packed picnic lunch boxes so as to maximize your time in the park enjoying game drives. You will also see the large Nile crocodile at Mara River and also large pods of hippo at the hippo pool during your picnic lunch. If lucky, you may also witness an adrenalin filled cheetah hunt close to the river or in the extensive plains. In the evening, you will transfer back to accommodation for dinner and rest.

Day 8: Fly back to Nairobi

After early breakfast, spend the morning enjoying wildlife viewing in the extensive Masai Mara Reserve for excellent chances of morning game viewing. Afterwards you will be transferred to Keekorok Airstrip where you will catch the onward flight back to Nairobi departing at 11.15am. You will reach Nairobi at 1.00pm and be driven to a local restaurant for hot lunch. After lunch, you may have a driving tour of Nairobi City to see the general view of the city, maybe have some souvenir shopping then later on you are transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your departure flight.
