Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Lake Manyara

Day 1: Arusha / Tarangire National Park

Early morning departure from Arusha to Tarangire Park which derives its name from the Tarangire River that traverses within the park. The park gives support to many types of animals especially during the dry season when animals migrate from the dry lands in search of greener pastures. Animals easy to spot include wildebeest, zebra, eland, elephant, buffalo, hartebeest and others.
Overnight: Kigongoni Camp /Tarangire Safari Lodge / Tarangire Sopa Lodge

Day 2: Tarangire / Serengeti National Park

Early breakfast followed by morning drive to the Great Serengeti via Ngorongoro Conservation area arriving for lunch; lunch is followed by game viewing. Serengeti is home to Africa’s big five (elephant, rhino, lion, leopard & buffalo) and is also home to millions of other animals which include browsers, predators, reptiles and birds. The annual wildebeest migration commences in June when over 1 million wildebeest, zebra and gazelle head into the Masai Mara plains in search of better pasture. These animals are followed closely by the predators of the savannah (lion, cheetah, wild dog, jackal, hyena, vultures and others). Evening transfer back to accommodation for rest and dinner

Day 3 & 4: Serengeti

Early breakfast followed by game viewing within the famous and game studded Serengeti plains which is also home to over 500 bird species. Your expert guide will help you track animals, spot camouflaged animals and birds as well as stop patiently for you to take many pictures. Break for lunch at camp / lodge then proceed with afternoon game viewing till evening

Day 5: Serengeti / Ngorongoro Crater

Early breakfast followed by morning game viewing within Serengeti to see the early risers start off the day as well as photograph the unique and captivating African sunrise. Afterwards depart to Ngorongoro Crater with packed picnic lunch arriving in the late afternoon for relaxation at the camp / lodge. Spend the evening at leisure enjoying various activities available at camp / lodge.

Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater / Lake Manyara / Arusha

Early breakfast followed by drive to Lake Manyara Park for game viewing and photography; Lake Manyara is home to large numbers of flamingo, pelican, stork and other different bird species and is therefore regarded as the birding paradise of Tanzania. Giraffe, gazelle, warthog and others can be seen browsing inside the park. If lucky, you might see the rare tree climbing lion which also resides within this park. After the game drive, you exit from the park and be driven back to Arusha arriving in the afternoon.

Early breakfast followed by check out from camp / lodge with packed picnic lunch to eat during your game viewing within crater floor. Descend to the crater to see the breath-taking huge caldera which is home to Tanzania’s only remaining black rhino population. Other animals which are easy to spot include hippo, elephant, gazelle antelope, flamingo and other water birds. Evening ascent back to camp / lodge for rest, dinner and overnight

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater / Lake Manyara / Arusha

Breakfast at 0700hrs then proceed for a morning game drive to see the park when most active. Break for lunch at camp or alternatively carry packed picnic lunch to eat during game drives. Afternoon game drive to explore the new 8th wonder of the world. Cultural visit to a Masai village can be organized at a small extra cost
Balloon safaris are available on request and take place early in the morning before sunrise. More optional activities are available at the camp such as guided nature walks, night game viewing, e.t.c. Evening transfer back to accommodation for dinner and rest

Day 7: Masai Mara / Nairobi

Breakfast followed by check out then morning exploration of the park one last time. After your game drive, exit from park and be driven back to Nairobi with stop for lunch at Narok town. Proceed to Nairobi arriving in the evening for transfer to your hotel / Airport for your flight.
